Hand Woven Silk Stripe Hemp Cotton Stole HL1004

A unique veggie dyed  striped hemp-cotton stole with silk woven into it. To enhance this beautiful stole the stripe is put in the warp and made from hand drawn veggie dyed Nepali silk yarn. Natural alum stone is used as a fixer for the dye. This stole has been manufactured to a high standard on a hand loom from 55% hemp and 45% cotton with silk stripes. Finished with hand twisted tassles.

The stole can be worn for all seasons and will become very soft once it has been used.

This handwoven stole will have slubs and irregularities that are an intrinsic part of the manufacturing process which gives this stole its own special look.

Colours: Brown, Blue The colours may vary slightly as the scarves are all dyed by hand.

Wash care: Hand or machine wash cool (hand wash cycle) using non-biological washing soap.
