Hand Woven Veggie Dyed Jacquard Hemp Cotton Stole HL1006sd

A unique veggie dyed hemp-cotton stole, manufactured to a high standard on a jacquard hand loom from 55% hemp and 45% cotton.  Wore as a stole or scarf - suitable for women or men.

The yarn is dyed prior to weaving.

The stole can be worn for all seasons and will become very soft once it has been used. It has a beautiful small diamond pattern woven into it.  The stole is finished with hand twisted tassles.

Colours may vary slightly between stoles as these stoles are all individually hand dyed using vegetable materials.  Natural alum stone is used as a fixer for the dyes.

An expert weaver on a hand woven jacquard machine will weave up to 1.5 metres of textile per day.
