Wild Nettle Shirt Short Sleeved Handloomed HH0003

Unique handloomed nettle and cotton shirt. 

The nettle for these shirts grows wild in the forests of the Himalayas and is therefore not only naturally organic, but a step above. It is harvested and processed by hand before being hand drawn (by a method called tooth and spindle) into fine yarn.  Our shirts are handloomed in our own workshop – making this an entirely hand-made natural fabric that you won’t find anywhere else!  
50% wild Himalayan Giant Nettle 50% cotton.

The hand-drawn yarn for this product is bought direct from the people in the hills of Nepal.  When you buy this shirt from our Heaven Hemp workshop you know you are helping to sustain the age-old tradition of hand drawn yarn. Tooth and spindle method was used in Europe during the middle ages.

Gets very soft with use!!

Nettle absorbs moisture and its natural antibacterial properties also keep your shirt fresh – making it ideal travel wear.

Wash care: Hand wash in cool water using non-biological washing liquid or flakes. Wring lightly, line dry from hem, cool iron while damp.Do not tumble dry.
