A versatile hemp bag with lots of zippered pockets, great all-round roomy shoulder bag or flight bag!  This is the updated version of our previous Big Bag.

Made from 100% hardy Wild Nepali Hemp. The hemp grows wild in the hills of Nepal and is therefore naturally organic, hand loomed.

With one large zip pocket inside and two on the front, plus Velcro’d flap-over pocket for mobile or pens.  On the reverse, another large zipped pocket – handy to hold your latest read. Big bag closes with a zip and has an adjustable shoulder strap and cotton lining.

The wild hemp is gathered and processed by hand in the traditional way by farming families who weave fabric in quiet periods of the farming year. It is then hand-spun into yarn and woven into lengths of cloth before going to Kathmandu by bus. The farming families who produce this beautiful Himalayan textile receive a much-needed cash income from this business. This wild hemp is naturally organic and the cloth made entirely by hand.
