Men's three quarter length walking shorts/summer trousers with lots of pockets! Hard wearing, keep cool for spring and summer.

Hemp canvas fixed waist three quarter length trouser.  An elasticated piece each side of the waist for comfort. Two hip pockets, two rear pockets with velcro fastening and two combat-style pockets on the knees with velcro fastening. Concealed button fly front with 4 coconut buttons.  55% hemp, 45% cotton

Hemp is a wonderful plant. It springs up from seed in only 120 days eliminating the need for chemical fertilisers and herbicides. Is naturally pest-free so does not need pesticides.  Hemp thrives in over-fertilised and arid regions and actually leaves the soil in better condition than before.

Hemp has naturally long fibres, preventing stretching, and makes wonderful fabric and can be spun to different widths and mixed with other natural fibres for a vast array of different looks. It softens with use yet remains hardwearing.

Hemp fibres are porous so hemp keeps you cool in summer and yet in winter the same cloth retains heat.  Hemp’s naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial properties mean that it is an ideal fabric for your travel clothes.

Importantly, it does not need vast amounts of water to grow.  Hemp is an earth-friendly crop!

Wash care:
Hand or machine wash in cool water using non-biological washing liquid or flakes.  Wring lightly, line dry from hem, cool iron while damp. Do not tumble dry.
