Hemp is a wonderful plant. It springs up from seed in only 120 days eliminating the need for chemical fertilisers and herbicides. Is naturally pest-free so does not need pesticides.  Hemp thrives in over-fertilised and arid regions and actually leaves the soil in better condition than before.

Hemp has naturally long fibres, preventing stretching, and makes wonderful fabric and can be spun to different widths and mixed with other natural fibres for a vast array of different looks. It softens with use yet remains hardwearing.

Hemp fibres are porous so hemp keeps you cool in summer and yet in winter the same cloth retains heat.  Hemp’s naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial properties mean that it is an ideal fabric for your travel clothes. Importantly, it does not need vast amounts of water to grow.  Hemp is an earth-friendly crop!

We only use Swiss-made azo-free dyes for our clothes and accessories as these are more environmentally friendly. Azo dyes are difficult to remove from the ecosystem as they resist biodegradation in aerobic environments.

Wash care: Hand or machine wash (hand wash cycle only, short wash)at 30-40º using non-biological washing liquid or flakes, or hand wash cycle cool in washing machine. Do not tumble dry.
