A4 Lokta Paper Writing Set

Large writing set made in Nepal from handmade paper.  Includes an A4 pad with 28 plain leaves, plus 10 separate A4 sheets with 5 envelopes, all in an attractive perimeter-stitched folder. Smooth paper.

The paper in the A4 pad can be used in an ink jet printer; or, why not write to a friend with a fountain pen or biro and forget your computer - the writing does not bleed.

The handmade paper is produced by traditional methods in the hills of Nepal from the bark of the Daphne Cannabina or Lokta bush.

After harvesting, the Lokta bush naturally regenerates, reaching full maturity again in six to seven years, thus preserving the fragile forest ecology of Nepal, as well as giving continued work to the many mountain villages.
