Lokta Paper Writing Set with Bamboo Closure WW20

Striking writing set made from the sustainable Lokta bush, attractively finished with bamboo stylus closure.

Set comprises 20 sheets of natural paper with 10 contrast envelopes. Colour of envelope peeps through a window in the outer cover.  Each set has a different contrasting envelope. An ideal any-time or birthday gift.

The handmade paper is produced by traditional methods in the hills of Nepal from the bark of the Daphne Cannabina or Lokta bush.

After harvesting, the Lokta bush naturally regenerates, reaching full maturity again in six to seven years, thus preserving the fragile forest ecology of Nepal, as well as giving continued work to the many mountain villages.
