A handy small cream journal with brown spine. This hard cover book has 26 thick dark cream coloured pages with deckled edges. Deckle edge means the ragged or uncut natural edge of the paper. Handmade paper from Nepal. Colour: Cream with brown spine The handmade paper is produced by traditional methods in the hills of Nepal from the bark of the Daphne Cannabina or Lokta bush. After harvesting, the Lokta bush naturally regenerates, reaching full maturity again in six to seven years, thus preserving the fragile forest ecology of Nepal, as well as giving continued work to the many mountain villages.
