Hard backed journal from Nepal with eye-catching stars and moon on the front cover. Each star and moon is thinly outlined in twisted string effect. Handmade paper. One of these colourful journals makes a lovely gift this Christmas . 49 pages The handmade paper is produced by traditional methods in the hills of Nepal from the bark of the Daphne Cannabina or Lokta bush. After harvesting, the Lokta bush naturally regenerates, reaching full maturity again in six to seven years, thus preserving the fragile forest ecology of Nepal, as well as giving continued work to the many mountain villages.
